Donate Now to Bring a HHW Collection
Event to McLean County

Due to the absence of state funding, the Ecology Action Center has begun planning for a locally funded HHW Collection Event for McLean County residents in partnership with the City of Bloomington, Town of Normal, and McLean County. Holding a one-day event for our community will likely cost at least $125,000, much of which needs to be raised through private donations.

Please consider making a contribution to the HHW fund. As the Ecology Action Center is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are tax-deductible. You will receive an acknowledgement of your donation for tax purposes. For businesses or organizations interested in sponsorship opportunities, please contact Michael Brown at (309) 454-3169.

With your support we can bring a HHW Collection Event back to McLean County and continue to protect our local environment and water supplies through safe disposal of hazardous materials.
